Greta and Andy’s romantic outdoor wedding at living sculpture Sanctuary was an enchanted evening under the stars that was a long awaited day for both sides of the family
The couple met in their 40s, and fittingly their “theme” couldn’t have been more fitting: “It Was Worth the Wait.”
This celebration was extremely special and close to my heart as have known
Greta since 10th grade. We have been through so many ups and down and all sorts of life’s special moments – but finally designing her wedding stationery was not only an honor but a dream come true.
“Working with her was effortless and a pleasure — I felt so lucky to have someone I trust implicitly, not just for the big, once-in-a-lifetime moments like our wedding day, but also for all the small, meaningful ones along the way. It’s rare to find someone who feels like such an important part of your story, and I couldn’t imagine this chapter without her.” – Greta

Custom Wedding Invitations for Romantic Outdoor Wedding at Living Sculpture Sanctuary
The couple wanted their wedding to feel sultry and romantic — the kind of atmosphere that feels warm and full of love. Our color palette was a rich blend of burgundy, deep red, fuchsia for a playful pop, and soft blush pink to balance it all out.
“Burgundy was the thread that tied everything together — from the stunning invitations with a burgundy velvet trim, to the circular dinner menus, the whimsical seating card tree, and of course, the lush floral arrangements. Every detail carried that deep, romantic hue that made the whole celebration feel timeless and passionate.”
Together we created a completely custom floral invitation with velvet burgundy accents, laser cut details and rose gold foil. Since Greta and Andy had multiple insert cards we chose a pocket folder to hold the Accommodations and RSVP cards. We wove the velvet details throughout the night with custom 3 ply menus and the most stunning place card display that greeted guests when they entered the sanctuary.

Greta recalls” One of the standout touches for me was my seating chart tree. It felt truly spectacular and perfectly in tune with the natural beauty of our venue. Instead of arranging the seating cards neatly on a table, we hung them from branches, each adorned with a delicate blush-pink tassel. Cards A through D were displayed on the tree, while the rest rested on a table blanketed in soft moss. It was playful, enchanting, and added a magical, storybook feel to the day that guests kept commenting on.
Romantic Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at Living Sculpture Sanctuary

Greta and Andy knew that the one thing they wanted in a venue was a true “enchanted tropical oasis” — and that’s exactly what they found at Living Sculpture Sanctuary. From the moment they walked in, they were surrounded by lush greenery, century-old oaks, cascading waterfalls, koi ponds, and a Zen garden tucked among tropical flowers and palms.
What really sealed the deal for them was how the property naturally offered distinct and open-air spaces for each part of their special day: a peaceful area for the ceremony, a vibrant cocktail-hour spot, and a reception zone that felt intimate but open. Because they had fewer than 90 guests, the venue’s “petite but perfect” vibe made everything feel personal and full of warmth.

OutdoorWedding Reception at Living Sculpture Sanctuary
Being a late-March wedding, Greta was secretly hoping for a cool evening breeze during our 7 p.m. ceremony. Instead, the sun decided to be front and center. It was toasty evening . But, no one seemed to mind.
Once the music started, the heat was a non-factor. The guests danced, laughed, and celebrated like it was the happiest day on earth — because it was.
The chuppah ceremony was deeply personal to the couple who waited a long time ot say their I do’s.. The canopy above us was covered by the tallit (prayer shawl) of both Greta and Andy’s father — It was the couples way of symbolizing that their love, faith, and protection will always cover their marriage and their home. It was deeply personal and truly the heart of our ceremony.
Greta did not want a huge bridal party and Instead she chose to keep things intimate and meaningful with my two lifelong best friends standing by my side as my matrons of honor.

Greta and Andy’s Romantic Outdoor Wedding at Living Sculpture Sanctuary in Davie, was a unique and long awaited celebration. It was filled with beautiful touches and surrounded by one off South Florida’s most enchanting gardens and fountains.
