How many invitations should I order?
You don’t need an invitation for every person. Families and couples who live together get one invitation. The best way to count how many you need is to create an excell spreadsheet with names and see how many lines you have. Always make sure you have a few extra – some to put aside for yourself, if some bounce back to you and of course if you would like to invite more people. Ordering a small amount of extra invitations after you have placed a full order is extremely expensive and we try to avoid this at all costs. Please note that invitations come in quantities of 25.
When do I send out my invitations?
Traditionally invitations go out two months before the wedding, with the RSVP date being about a two to four weeks before the big day.
If you are having a destination wedding, give guests more time and send them out six or more months ahead of time. Save the dates can go out six to eight months before.
What kind of printing methods do you offer?
We offer everything from digital flat printing, silkscreen, letterpress, thermography, laser cutting, embossing and so much more. You can also choose custom wax seals, rhinestone brooches, ribbons, crystals and belly bands to complement your invitation.
How long does it take?
The initial proofs take 3-4 days, with each subsequent proof taking about 2 days or so. Please note that this time frame may change based on how busy the studio is and / or the complexity of each project. The design process can take from a week to a few weeks depending on the invitations you select, and the number of changes you have.
